Habitat and Description: In mixed (mostly low) vegetation tight saline clay on +/- broad level valley flat on otherwise gently undulating upland. Vegetation dominated by Varilla texana, Billieturnera helleri, Hilaria belangeri, Jatropha cathartica. Other associates included Acleisanthes obtusa, Aloysia gratissima, Atriplex acanthocarpa, A. canescens, Condalia spathulata, Dichanthium annulatum, Echinocereus enneacanthus, Guaiacum angustifolium, Grindelia sp., Ibervillea lindheimeri, Opuntia leptocaulis, O. lindheimeri, Prosopis glandulosa (stunted), P. reptans, Ruellia sp., Setaria cf. texana, Ziziphus obtusifolia. Common.
