Associates include Aster ericoides, Baccharis halamifolia, Conyza canadensis, Crataegus sp., Desmodium sp., Eupatorium capillifolium, E. serotinum, Fraxinus americana, Ludwigia decurrens, Myrica cerifera, Rhus copallina, Schizachyrium scoparium, Scirpus cyperinus, Solidago odora, Strophostyles umbellata, Vaccinium arboreum. Local.
