Habitat and Description: On rocky slope of Weches Formation reddish-brown sandstone, upper slopes of Marcelinas Hills on Mary Gaddis property. Associates include Acacia cf. greggii, Celtis reticulata, Condalia hookeri, Diospyros texana, Opuntia lindheimeri, Prosopis glandulosa, Rhus trilobata, Wedelia hispida, Yucca treculeana. Rare in medium- to tall-stature shrubland.
