Habitat and Description: Moist stony clay on partially shade bank of perennial stream. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Cicuta maculata, Cirsium texanum, Cladium jamaicense, Clematis drummondii, C. pitcheri, Colubrina texensis, Eleocharis montividensis, Eupatorium serotinum, Fraxinus pensylvanica, Leersia oryzoides, Lythrum californicum, Panicum virgatum, Ptelea trifoliata, Rubus trivialis, Samolus valerandi, Thelypteris ovata ssp. lindheimeri, Veronica peregrina. Perennial, forming large clumps; occasional.
