Habitat and Description: Carex-dominated herbaceous wetland vegetation in opening in loblolly pine - oak forest on medium acid silty loam Alfisols (Sorter Series) on flat landscape underlain by Lissie Formation. Wetland dominated by Carex sp. (28194). Associates include Amsonia illustris, Carex lupulina, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Dichanthelium sp. (28198), Eleocharis sp. (28195), Hymenocallis liriosme, Juncus sp., Liquidambar styraciflua, Lycopus sp., Nyssa sylvatica, Proserpinaca palustris, Saururus cernuus. Occasional.
