Habitat and Description:
On pimple mounds in heavily grazed transitional coastal prairie of Spartina spartinae and Aristida spp., on Livia loam over Beaumont Formation. Associates on mound include Chamaecrista fasciculata, Croton glandulosus, Sida lindheimeri. Rare. Mad Island Marsh Preserve Herbarium (Matagorda Co. Texas), donated by the Nature Conservancy to the University of Texas Herbarium, 2011.
