Habitat and Description: In recently-burned upland gulf cordgrass-brownseed Paspalum grassland on somewhat sandy clay soils, more or less level coastal prairie. Associates include Astranthium integrifolium, Borrichia frutescens, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Chaetopappa asteroides, Coreopsis sp., Delphinium sp., Dichanthelium oligosanthes, D. sphaerocarpon, Fimbristylis cf. puberula, Juncus interior, J. marginatus, Linum imbricatum, Sabatia campestris, Spiranthes vernalis, Stipa leucotricha, Thelesperma filifolium. Occasional. Mad Island Marsh Preserve Herbarium (Matagorda Co. Texas), donated by the Nature Conservancy to the University of Texas Herbarium, 2011.
