Habitat and Description: In moist tight fine sand or loamy sand open spots in young mesquite woodland on gentle slope along wet-weather drainageway on very gently undulating landscape of South Texas Sand Sheet. Associates included Agrostis hiemalis, Anagallis minimus, Bulbostylis capillaris, Dichanthelium sp., Drosera brevifolia, Eleocharis sp., Gamochaeta sp., Gaura brachycarpa, Isocoma drummondii, Lesquerella sp., Lindernia anagallidea, Sabatia campestris, Utricularia subulata. Rare, local.
