Habitat and Description: In weedy herbaceous vegetation in disturbed portion of gamagrass prairie vegetation along edge of fenceline woodland, on soils mapped as deep, somewhat poorly drained, mildly alkaline clay Vertisols (Kaufman Series), on floodplain of major stream. Associates included Ambrosia trifida, Dichanthelium oligosanthes, Dracopis amplexicaulis, Iva annua, Lolium perenne, Oenothera speciosa, Physalis sp., Sorghum halepense, Tripsacum dactyloides, Verbena halei.
