Habitat and Description: On margin of road through old stand of tall-stature shrubland or palm woodland on soils mapped as deep, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline silt loams (Rio Grande and Zalla series), on +/- flat agricultural landscape of Rio Grande delta. Associates included Amyris texana, Cocculus carolinus, Commelina sp. (29911), Ehretia anacua, Eupatorium odoratum, Galactia sp. (G. texana?), Iresine palmeri, Malpighia glabra, Pithecellobium ebano, Sabal mexicana, Serjania brachycarpa, Sideroxylon celastrinum, Urochloa maxima, Zanthoxylum fagara, Ziziphus obtusifolius.
