Habitat and Description: In mostly native grassland vegetation on soils mapped as deep, moderately well drained, slightly acid clay loam Vertic Haplustalfs (Normangee Series), on gentle slopes underlain by Blossom Sand. Echinacea pallida, Elymus canadensis, Eryngium yuccifolium, Euphorbia corollata, Helianthus mollis, H. grosseserratus, Koeleria cristata, Liatris pycnostachya, Liatris (other), Linum medium, Mimosa nuttallii, Monarda citriodora, Penstemon tubiflorus, Phalaris caroliniana, Polytaenia nuttallii, Pycnanthemum tenuiflorum, Rubus oklahomus, Rudbeckia maxima, Ruellia humilis, Salvia azurea, Silphium radula, Sporobolus silveanus, Tripsacum dactyloides.
