Habitat and Description: In weedy herbaceous vegetation along partial shaded margin of plant nursery or garden on modified soils originally mapped as deep, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline silt loam Typic Ustifluvents (Rio Grande series), on +/- flat agricultural landscape on delta of the Rio Grande. Associates included Calyptocarpus vialis, Chamaesyce nutans, C. prostrata, Clematis drummondii, Eriochloa sp., Gaura parviflora, Lepidium austrinum, Malvastrum coromandelianum, Oenothera laciniata, O. speciosa, Ruellia runyonii, Sida abutifolia, Sporobolus pyramidatus, Verbena halei. Common.
