Habitat and Description: In gravelly open areas along seepage flow of cienaga in a Trans Pecos: Cienaga Wetland Desert community. Local gravelly soils on seepage contact between old caliche deposits and igneous rock of the Eppenauer Ranch Formation. Plant associations include: Prosopis pubescens, Celtis pallida, Baccharis salicifolia, Sporobolus airoides, and Distichlis spicata. Common and abundant.
