Locality: United States, TEXAS, Lamar, In NE 1/4 of Tridens Prairie Preserve, ca. 200-500 ft. SSW of jct. US Rt. 82 and St. Rt. 38, ca. 1 mi N of Brookston. Elev. 590-600ft.

Habitat and Description: In mostly native grassland vegetation on soils mapped as Normangee clay loam (Vertic Haplustalfs), on very gentle slopes underlain by Blossom Sand, near edge of narrow strip of hackberry woodland along shallow intermittent drainageway. Associates included Acacia angustissima, Achillea millefolium, Agrostis hyemalis, Baptisia sphaerocarpon, Briza minor, Bromus japonicus, Camassia scilloides, Carex bushii, Dichanthelium oligosanthes, D. sphaerocarpon, Erigeron strigosus, Euphorbia spathulata, Gamochaeta purpurea, Geranium carolinianum, Helianthus grosseserratus, H. mollis, Lolium perenne, Myosotis macrosperma, Nassella leucotricha, Oenothera speciosa, Penstemon digitalis, Phalaris caroliniana, Phlox pilosa, Polytaenia nuttallii, Ranunculus fascicularis, Rubus spp., Rudbeckia maxima, Rumex hastatulus, Sphenopholis obtusata, Sporobolus silveanus, Triodanis biflora, Tripsacum dactyloides, Valerianella radiata. Rare.
