Habitat and Description: Live oak savanna on level upland. On various gravelly clay unshaded sites (mown lawn, bulldozed parking area, old building foundation). Herbicide applied on this date (among others) by group of Master Naturalists and others. Associates included Asclepias asperula, Bromus japonicus, Cirsium texanum, Lactuca serriola, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Plantago helleri, P. rhodosperma, Quercus fusiformis, Sonchus sp., Thelesperma filifolium, Tragia ramosa. Locally common. Et al. identified on sheet as weed eradication team.
