Habitat and Description: In herbaceous vegetation on deep sand of Pleistocene eolian deposit, in occasionally shredded former pasture opening in woodland on convex upland. Vegetation dominated by Heterotheca subaxillaris, Eriogonum multiflorum, Cynodon dactylon. Other associates included Acalypha radians, Aphanostephus skirrhobasis, Aristida sp., Cenchrus spinifex, Chamaecrista sp., Cnidoscolus texanus, Cocculus diversifolius, Croton capitatus, C. glandulosus, Diodia teres, Eragrostis secundiflora, E. sessilispica, Froelichia sp., Gaillardia aestivalis, Galactia heterophylla, Gaura sp., Helianthus debilis, Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Indigofera miniata, Krameria lanceolata, Melochia tomentosa, Nama hispidum, Oxalis berlandieri, Panicum capillarioides, Paspalum setaceum, Phlox cf. drummondii, Pterocaulon virgatum, Rhynchosia americana, Rhynchosia americana, Richardia tricocca, Schrankia sp., Sida lindheimeri, Tephrosia lindheimeri, Tragia sp., Urochloa ciliatissima, Verbena halei.
