Habitat and Description: In shrubland of sotol and stunted live oak on limestone exposed along upper slopes. Associates include Croton lindheimerianus, Dasylirion texanum, Juglans microcarpa, Mimosa borealis, Palafoxia callosa, Panicum virgatum, Quercus fusiformis, Sideroxylon lanuginosum. Rare.
