Habitat and Description: In bed of road through rare in herbaceous "sandhill" vegetation on medium gray very fine sand on somewhat hummocky gentle to moderate slope. Associates include Argythamnia pilosissima, Bromus catharticus, Castilleja indivisa, Cnidoscolus texanus, Delphinium sp., Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Lesquerella lindheimeri, Lupinus subcarnosus, Matelea cynanchoides, Oenothera grandis, Parietaria pensylvanica, Pediomelum rhombifolium, Phlox drummondii, Stillingia sylvatica. Local.
