Habitat and Description:
In ground layer of openings within live oak - Ashe juniper woodland on level upland underlain by Cretaceous limestone of the Travis Peak Formation. Associates included Argythamnia aphoroides, Bouteloua curtipendula, Cirsium texanum, Croton monanthogynus, Evolvulus nuttallianus, Gaillardia pulchella, Schizachyrium scoparium, Stillingia texana, Thelesperma filifolium, Tridens muticus. Locally common.
