Habitat and Description: In moist silt-sandy alluvium in bottom of drainageway between slopes supporting loblolly pine forest on rolling landscape underlain by Eocene sand capped by Pleistocene terrace deposits, on soils mapped as moderately deep, well drained, gravelly sandy loam (Jedd Series, Ultic Paleustalfs). Associates included Ambrosia trifida, Ampelopsis arborea, Cyperus sp., Diodia virginiana, Eclipta alba, Eleusine indica, Melia azedarach, Melothria pendula, Paspalum urvillei, Phytolacca americana, Samolus valerandi. Rare. Area not or lightly burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011.
