Habitat and Description: In grassland openings in live oak woodland on nearly level upland underlain by Glen Rose Limestone, on soils mapped as shallow, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline silty clay (Doss Series, Typic Calciustolls). Associates included Bothriochloa ischaemum, Croton monanthogynus, Evax verna, Glandularia bipinnatifida, and Ratibida columnifera. Rare. On property noted in one area.
