Habitat and Description: In rather weedy herbaceous vegetation in bulldozed roadbed on clay soils around large stock tank / pond, on flat landscape underlain by tuffaceous sandstone and conglomerate of the Tascotal Formation. Associates included Baccharis salicifolia, Chamaesyce albomarginata, Cyperus 31814, Echinochloa, Glandularia wrightii, Helenium microcephalum, Ipomoea costellata, Leptochloa 31812, Lycium sp., Panicum hirticaule, Parthenium hysterophorus, Paspalum distichum, Pleuraphis mutica, Poinsettia dentata, Sphaeralcea angustifolia, Sporobolus wrightii, Tridens albescens, Urochloa 31813, Xanthium strumarium. Stems prostrate, forming mats.
