Habitat and Description: In moist clay around unshaded margin of large stock tank / pond, on flat landscape underlain by tuffaceous sandstone and conglomerate of the Tascotal Formation. Associates included Baccharis salicifolia, Chamaesyce albomarginata, Cyperus 31814, Echinochloa, Glandularia wrightii, Ipomoea costellata, Leptochloa 31812, Lycium sp., Panicum hirticaule, Parthenium hysterophorus, Paspalum distichum, Pleuraphis mutica, Poinsettia dentata, Quincula lobata, Sphaeralcea angustifolia, Sporobolus wrightii, Tridens albescens, Xanthium strumarium. Locally common.
