Habitat and Description: On dryish, mostly unshaded limestone outcrops just above bank of intermittent creek, in narrow canyon in very hilly landscape underlain by Glen Rose Limestone. Associates included Ageratina havanensis, Arbutus xalapensis, Asclepias texana, Brickellia cylindracea, Chaetopappa effusa, Dasylirion texanum, Juniperus ashei, Lonicera albiflora, Passiflora affinis, Penstemon triflorus, Rhus lanceolata, Styrax platanifolius ssp. stellatus, Ungnadia speciosa, Vernonia lindheimeri, Viguiera dentata, Wedelia hispida, Yucca rupicola. Occasional.
