Habitat and Description: On alluvium along unshaded margin of stock tank in dammed ravine, in hilly landscape underlain by Glen Rose Limestone. Associates included Aster subulatus, Datura wrightii, Eclipta prostrata, Phyla nodiflora, Pluchea odorata, Smilax bona-nox, Salix nigra, Verbesina encelioides. Common.
