Locality: United States, TEXAS, Kendall, On W bank of Ross Creek ca. 100 ft. S of crossing on E side of Davidson property, ca. 1.3-1.4 airmiles NW of jct. R. M. 473 and R. M. 3160 in Kendalia. Elev. 1360-1380 ft.

Habitat and Description: In partial shade of pecans in open deciduous riparian woodland on deeper silty clay on valley flat, along bank of entrenched wet-weather creek. Associates included Bothriochloa ischaemum, Carya illinoinensis, Diospyros texana, Elymus canadensis, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Ruellia metzae, R. nudiflora, Tragia brevispica, Verbesina virginica. Rare on property, noted in one spot, a few plants.
