Locality: United States, TEXAS, Palo Pinto, At and below ground level along road in disturbed valley bottom, in small canyon draining N into SW corner of Tucker Lake, ca. 4.3 airmiles WSW of jct. St. Rt. 16 and R. M. 2372 in Strawn. Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. Elev. 1170-1180 ft.

Habitat and Description: In relatively sparse herbaceous vegetation and scattered mesquite on Pennsylvanian limestone exposed (as a result of recent erosion?). Associates included Abutilon incanum, Allowissadula holosericea, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Bouteloua curtipendula, B. hirsuta, Croton monanthogynus, Digitaria cognata, Echinocereus reichenbachii, Hilaria belangeri, Opuntia lindheimeri, Palafoxia callosa, Senna roemeriana, Sporobolus vaginiflorus.
