Habitat and Description: In shallow drainage ditch (old acequia?) in somewhat weedy vegetation in tight soils in highly impacted area in traps around windmill, on valley flat on otherwise rolling landscape underlain by tuffaceous sandstone and conglomerate of the Tascotal Formation. Associates included Amaranthus palmeri, Bouteloua curtipendula, Buddleja marrubiifolia, Chloris virgata, Digitaria californica, Ipomoea hederacea, Panicum hirticaule, P. obtusum, Pappophorum vaginatum, Prosopis glandulosa, Sporobolus cryptandrus, Tidestroemia lanuginosa, Verbesina encelioides.
