Habitat and Description: In bottom of dry segment of resaca cut off from wet portion of resaca by a man-made levee, low spot on otherwise flat agricultural landscape of Rio Grande delta. Associates included Ampelopsis arborea, Baccharis sp. Shrub to 2 m tall. Common. Forming thicket.
