Habitat and Description: In shade of tepeguaje woodland revegetation irrigated by tailwater from ag fields, on soils mapped as deep, somewhat poorly drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline clay Vertic Fluvaquents (Grulla Series). Associates included Celtis laevigata, Ciclospermum leptophyllum, Cissus incisa, Erythrina herbacea, Leucaena pulverulenta, Melothria pendula, Parietaria obtusa, Phyla sp., Rorippa teres, Rubus trivialis, Senecio tampicanus. Erect herb. Corolla pink. Locally common.
