Habitat and Description: In open parts of beaver-created swamp wetland on soils mapped as poorly drained, strongly acid loam Typic Fluvaquents (Keechi Series), in valley bottom between slopes underlain by sandstone of Weches Formation. Associates included Alnus serrulata, Betula nigra, Carex spp. (29703, 29706), Cephalanthus occidentalis, Galium tinctorium, Hydrocotyle ranunculoides, Juncus coriaceus, J. diffusissimus, J. effusus, J. (validus?), Leersia oryzoides, Liquidambar styraciflua, Lonicera japonica, Lycopus sp., Nuphar sp., Nymphoides aquatica, Osmunda regalis, Persicaria sp., Pluchea sp., Ptilimnium capillaceum, Rubus sp., Salix nigra, Saururus cernuus, Scirpus sp., Sparganium americanum, Triadenum sp., Vaccinium elliottii, Viburnum nudum, Woodwardia areolata. Occasional. Latitude and Longitude listed on sheet as between N32¼29'33.3", W095¼15'18.8" and N32¼29'30.1", W095¼15'19.2".
