Habitat and Description: In shrubland / low woodland on lower slope of wall of Salmon Peak Limestone, dry upper reaches. Woody associates included Acacia berlandieri, Berberis trifoliolata, Colubrina texensis, Condalia viridis, Croton fruticulosus, Dasylirion texanum, Diospyros texana, Forestiera reticulata, Juniperus sp., Mimosa sp., Quercus 30287, Rhus virens, Salvia ballotiflora, Schaefferia cuneifolia, Sophora secundiflora, Yucca reverchonii, Y. treculeana. Shrub 4-5 ft. tall. Rare.
