Habitat and Description: In deciduous woodland on floodplain of intermittent stream between short slopes of Glen Rose Limestone, on soils mapped as shallow, well drained, moderately alkaline, dark grayish-brown stony clays of the Eckrant-Comfort association. Woodland dominated by Ulmus crassifolia, Carya illinoinensis and Taxodium distichum. Associates included Aesculus pavia, Arisaema dracontium, Berberis trifoliolata, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Clematis texensis, Dichanthelium 30479, Diospyros texana, Festuca versuta, Fraxinus texensis, Juglans major, Matelea edwardsensis, Melica nitens, Nassella leucotricha, Parietaria pensylvanica, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Rubus trivialis, Salvia roemeriana, Sapindus saponaria, Sideroxylon lanuginosum, Smilax bona-nox, Sophora affinis, Tinantia anomala, Toxicodendron radicans, Tradescantia sp., Tragia brevispica, Tridens flavus, Tripsacum dactyloides, Verbesina virginica, Vitis cinerea, V. mustangensis.
