Habitat and Description:
In moist sandy soil in shaded bed of creek through loblolly pine - post oak forest on nearly level upland underlain by Reklaw Formation, on soils mapped as deep moderately well drained slightly acid fine sandy loam (Tabor Series, Aquic Paleustalfs). Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Callitriche sp., Eleocharis spp., Juncus diffusissimus, Juncus 30816, Lindernia dubia, Ludwigia palustris, Mecardonia procumbens, Persicaria hydropiperoides, Rotala ramosior, Steinchisma hians. Rare.
