Habitat and Description: Wet clay on unshaded margin of pump-fed pond (stock tank) in valley between slopes of tuffaceous sandstone and conglomerate of the Tascotal Formation. Associates included Atriplex 31261, Calibrachoa parviflora, Cynodon dactylon, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Eragrostis 31259, Eragrostis 31260, Helenium microcephalum, Leptochloa fascicularis, Salsola sp., Solanum elaeagnifolium, Trianthema pertulacastrum. Culms creeping; rare in area, encountered only in wet clay on unshaded margin of pump-fed pond (stock tank).
