Habitat and Description: In wet alluvium atop Salmon Peak Limestone along edge of scour plain of flood prone river. Associates included Baccharis sp., Eupatorium serotinum, Fuirena simplex, Helenium microcephalum, Hydrocotyle verticillata, Lobelia berlandieri, Lythrum californicum, Platanus occidentalis, Rhynchospora colorata. Common. Clump-forming graminoid with culms to 5 ft. tall.
