Habitat and Description: In formerly grazed grassland on comparatively deep clay soil on level plateau top underlain by Salmon Peak Limestone. Associates included Allium drummondii, Aphanostephus ramosissimus, Aristida sp., Dalea nana, Desmanthus velutinus, Digitaria cognata, Hedeoma drummondii, Hilaria belangeri, Lupinus texensis, Panicum hallii, Quincula lobata, Ratibida columnifera, Senna lindheimeriana, Solanum rostratum. Common. Rays yellow.
