Habitat and Description: In mostly unshaded bed of dry wash between slopes of tuffaceous sandstone and conglomerate of the Tascotal Formation. Associates included Aristida adscencionis, Allionia incarnata, Boerhavia sp., Bouteloua curtipendula, Brickellia laciniata, Chamaesyce nutans, C. serrula, Chilopsis linearis, Croton 31299, Cynodon dactylon, Ditaxis humilis, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Froelichia arizonica, Gilia rigidula, Kallstroemia parviflora, Menodora scabra, Mimosa aculeaticarpa, Nerisyrenia camporum, Nicotiana trigonophylla, Pectis filipes, Viguiera stenoloba.
