Locality: United States, TEXAS, Kendall, W side of intermittent creek on E side of Davidson property, ca. 1.6 airmiles NW of jct. R. M. 473 and R. M. 3160 in Kendalia. Elev. 1380-1390 ft.

Habitat and Description: In strip of sparse grassland on very stony soils mapped as shallow, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline silty clay (Doss Series, Typic Calciustolls), on gently sloping upland underlain by Glen Rose Limestone. Associates included Allium drummondii, Arenaria benthamii, Asclepias asperula, Astragalus wrightii, Erioneuron pilosum, Evax prolifera, Galium virgatum, Hedeoma acinoides, H. cf. drummondii, Houstonia nigricans, Hymenopappus scabiosaeus, Muhlenbergia reverchonii, Plantago rhodosperma, Sisyrinchium scabrum, Tetraneuris scaposa, Thelesperma simplicifolium, Trisetum interruptum, Valerianella amarella, Wedelia hispida, Yucca rupicola. Somewhat rare on property but locally common in strip of sparse grassland.
