Habitat and Description: In grassland on deep, well-drained, noncalcareous loamy soils (Gageby Series) on gently sloping alluvial flat, northern and eastern parts of Potts property. Associates included Asclepias subverticillata, Boerhavia sp., Bothriochloa laguroides, Bouteloua gracilis, Buchloe dactyloides, Buddleja scordioides, Cirsium undulatum, Distichlis spicata, Engelmannia pinnatifida, Hoffmannseggia glauca, Kallstroemia parviflora, Mirabilis linearis, Panicum obtusum, Portulaca oleracea, P. pilosa, Senna roemeriana, Sphaeralcea angustifolia, Thelesperma megapotamicum, Zinnia elegans. Rare.
