Habitat and Description: In well drained fine sand mounded at edge of regularly bladed road through loblolly pine - post oak forest on soils mapped as Silstid loamy fine sand on nearly level upland underlain by Carrizo Sand. Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Euphorbia sp. (30061), Gamochaeta purpurea, Hedyotis crassifolia, Hypochaeris glabra, Oenothera laciniata, Oxalis sp. (30060), Plantago virginica, Triodanis sp., Trisetum interruptum, Vulpia sp. Local. Rays white, tinged with light violet.
