Habitat and Description:
In closely mown lawn on level upland underlain by Carrizo Sand, on soils mapped as deep, well drained, slightly acid, very gravelly sandy soils of the Vernia complex (Grossarenic Paleustalfs) but highly modified; near parking lot on NW side of CCC-era dining hall just E of golf course. Area NOT burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Arenaria serpyllifolia, Aristolochia erecta, Astragalus nuttallianus, Draba platycarpa, Hedypnois cretica, Medicago minima, Nothoscordum bivalve, Oenothera laciniata, Plantago virginica, Soliva sp., Veronica arvensis. Abundant.
