Habitat and Description: In weedy herbaceous vegetation on bulldozed sand and clay along unshaded severely disturbed margin of fairly large stock tank, in low area on rolling landscape underlain by Carrizo Sand. Area probably not burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Facelis retusa, Hedeoma hispida, Helenium amarum, Paspalum notatum, Plantago aristata, Sesbania vesicaria, Sisyrinchium exile, S. rosulatum. Locally frequent.
