Habitat and Description: In moist silt and gravel on bars in and banks along partially shaded stretch of Bull Creek. Associates include Andropogon glomeratus, Chasmanthium latifolium, Cyperus odoratus, Elymus virginicus, Fimbristylis vahlii, Fuirena simplex, Leersia oryzoides, Muhlenbergia schreberi, Panicum virgatum, Paspalum urvillei, Rhynchospora colorata, Boehmeria cylindrica, Eupatorium coelestinum, E. serotinum, E. rugosum, Hydrocotyle verticillata, Ludwigia octovalvis, Mentha piperita, Mitreola petiolata, Solidago altissima, Verbena brasiliensis, Verbena scabra, Xanthium strumarium. Common, several hundred plants observed.
