Habitat and Description: In herbaceous vegetation in remnants of burned post oak woodland on gently sloping ridgetop underlain by Pennsylvanian sandstone. Associates included Acalypha monococca, Aristida longespica, Bulbostylis capillaris, Cenchrus spinifex, Chamaesyce sp., Chloris cucullata, Croton glandulosus, C. lindheimerianus, Cyperus 31963 and 31971, Digitaria cognata, Diodia teres, Eragrostis 31970, E. curtipedicellata, E. secundiflora, Froelichia sp., Hypericum drummondii, Lechea san-sabeana, Mollugo verticillata, Plantago hookeriana, Polypremum procumbens, Portulaca pilosa, Prionopsis ciliata, Quercus stellata, Schizachyrium scoparium, Selaginella arenicola. Occasional.
