Habitat and Description: Along margin of live oak woodland on level topography underlain by the Lissie Formation, on soils mapped as very deep, moderately well drained, friable, moderately acid, fine sandy loam Aquertic Chromic Hapludalfs (Nez Series). Associates included Berchemia scandens, Callicarpa americana, Calyptocarpus vialis, Carex spp., Celtis sp., Cocculus carolinus, Ilex vomitoria, Ligustrum sinense, Lonicera japonica, Oplismenus setarius, Poncirus trifoliata, Quercus virginiana, Sida rhombifolia, Smilax bon-nox, Solanum pseudocapsicum, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Tridens flavus, Verbesina virginica.
