Habitat and Description: In weedy vegetation in heavily impacted area around pens and barns on valley flat on rolling landscape underlain by conglomerate and sandstone of the Tascotal Formation. Associates included Aloysia wrightii, Amaranthus palmeri, Brachiaria fasciculata, Chloris virgata, Cucurbita foetidissima, Datura wrightii, Digitaria californica, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Forestiera angustifolia, Glandularia wrightii, Nicotiana trigonophylla, Parthenium incanum, Prosopis sp., Salsola sp., Setaria leucopila, Solanum elaeagnifolium, Tidestroemia lanuginosa, Verbesina encelioides. Shrub mostly ca. 1 m tall; occasional.
