Habitat and Description:
In moist sandy soils in very shallow inconspicuous drainageway on rolling upland landscape underlain by Eocene sand and supporting loblolly pine - post oak forest, on soils mapped as deep, moderately well drained, neutral to slightly acid fine sand (Patilo Series, Grossarenic Paleustalfs). Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Bulbostylis 30800, Cyperus 30796, Fuirena bushii. Occasional.
