Locality: United States, TEXAS, Presidio, Near windmill just N of house and barns, ca. 0.8-0.9 airmiles N to NNW of jct. US Rt. 90 and St. Rt. 17 in downtown Marfa. Southeast corner of Mimms Ranch (Dixon Water Foundation). Marfa Quadrangle. Elev. 4730 ft.

Habitat and Description: In grassland on somewhat gravelly gentle slope on very gently rolling landscape underlain by a mix of Perdiz Conglomerate (a fanglomerate of variable composition) and Quaternary alluvium. Common components of grassland included Bouteloua gracilis, Aristida adscencionis. Other associates included Amaranthus palmeri, Asclepias brachystephana, Atriplex elegans, Berlandiera lyrata, Boerhavia sp., Bothriochloa laguroides, Bouteloua barbata, B. curtipendula, Buddleja scordioides, Chamaesyce serpyllifolia, Croton pottsii, Cucurbita foetidissima, Enneapogon desvauxii, Eryngium heterophyllum, Evolvulus sp., Hilaria swallenii, Kallstroemia parviflora, Melampodium leucanthum, Panicum obtusum, Prosopis glandulosa, Psilostrophe tagetina, Salsola sp., Solanum elaeagnifolium, Tidestroemia lanuginosa, Zinnia grandiflora. Rare.
