Habitat and Description: In herbaceous vegetation on sandy to silty loam on gentle slope on very gently rolling landscape underlain by a mix of Perdiz Conglomerate (a fanglomerate of variable composition) and Quaternary alluvium. Associates included Acacia angustissima, A. constricta, Aphanostephus ramosissimus, Aristida adscencionis, A. ternipes, Cenchrus spinifex, Commelina erecta, Condalia ericoides, Croton pottsii, Dalea nana, Digitaria californica, Enneapogon desvauxii, Ephedra trifurca, Eriogonum annuum, Gaillardia pinnatifida, Gaura sp., Hoffmannseggia drepanocarpa, Hymenopappus flavescens, Ipomopsis longiflora, Machaeranthera tanacetifolia, Panicum hallii, Physaria fendleri, Pomaria jamesii, Portulaca suffrutescens, Psilostrophe tagetina, Rhynchosia senna, Setaria leucopila, Sphaeralcea coccinea, Talinum angustissimum, Tetraclea coulteri, Tradescantia occidentalis, Verbesina encelioides, Yucca sp. Rare.
